Our client is currently looking for a registered physiotherapist to join its downtown wellness centre.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the assessment of clients, establishment and ongoing evaluation and revision of treatment programs.
  • Maintains current accurate clinical records according to standards set by the College of Physiotherapists. Documents assessment results, goals, treatment, and client progress.
  • Collaborates with other members of the health care team and makes referrals to other internal practitioners as needed.
  • Communicates pertinent information and recommendations to clients/care providers and provides education regarding treatment strategies as needed.
  • Provides education to team members on discipline-specific clinical care.
  • As a role model and champion you will work to identify and integrate safe, best practices into daily activities to foster the delivery of safe and exemplary care

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Licensed to practice by College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy; Master’s degree preferred
  • Pliates and active rehabilitation experience is an asset
  • Experience working in a functional pain program including the utilization of physical and psychosocial interventions; preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness as an interdisciplinary team member.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, good judgement and flexibility.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Professional behavior and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the standards of Rosedale Wellness Centre.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 35 per week
